A systematic review and meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials on the effects of internal iliac artery balloon occlusion in placenta previa and placenta accreta spectrum in reducing perioperative bleeding

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Preoperative prophylactic balloon occlusion (PPBO) of internal iliac arteries (IIAs) in placenta previa and placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) has been widely used as a preventive adjuvant technique to reduce blood loss and to preserve fertility. Nevertheless, the efficacy of PPBO is based primarily on retrospective studies.

Ureteroarterial fistula: Late infectious common iliac artery pseudoaneurysm formation following successful endovascular stenting and literature review

open access: yesIJU Case Reports, EarlyView.
Introduction The long‐term prognosis of endovascular stenting for ureteroarterial fistulas is not always favorable. We present a case in which endovascular repair of a ureteroarterial fistula led to the development of an infectious iliac artery pseudoaneurysm that required open vascular graft replacement 1 year later.

Effect of concomitant Renal DeNervation and cardiac ablation on Atrial Fibrillation recurrence – RDN+AF study

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Volume 34, Issue 1, Page 44-53, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Background Renal denervation (RDN) can reduce cardiac sympathetic activity maintained by arterial hypertension (aHT). Its potential antiarrhythmic effect on rhythm outcome in patients with multi‐drug resistant aHT undergoing catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF) is unclear.
