Exploiting CO2‐Derived Carbon in Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
In this work, a carbon nanomaterial (CNM) extracted from CO2 reduction treatment is used as the conductive additive in lithium‐ion battery graphite anodes and LiFePO4 cathodes. The electrodes are produced by casting, using both sodium alginate as a green, water‐soluble, alternative binder.

Semiclassical Theory of Short Periodic Orbits in Quantum Chaos [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We have developed a semiclassical theory of short periodic orbits to obtain all quantum information of a bounded chaotic Hamiltonian system. If T_1 is the period of the shortest periodic orbit, T_2 the period of the next one and so on, the number N_p.o.

Semiclassical quantization with short periodic orbits [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We apply a recently developed semiclassical theory of short peridic orbits to the stadium billiard. We give explicit expresions for the resonances of periodic orbits and for the application of the semiclassical Hamiltonian operator to them. Then, by using the 3 shortest periodic orbits and 2 more living in the bouncing ball region, we obtain the first ...

ENERGIA RENOVÁVEL; UTILIZAÇÃO DE ENERGIA SOLAR PARA ACIONAMENTO DE TELHADO MÓVEL.

open access: yesRevista Científica Semana Acadêmica, 2021
The present work aims to exemplify a renewable and sustainable energy source as such the energy from sunlight to drive mobile coverage as a clean source of energy that does not cause damage to the environment, taking advantage of solar energy as a source of heat and light being one of the most propitious and reliable energies in the world.

The Role of Intermediaries in Sociotechnical Transitions: A Systematic Framework Towards Sustainability Management

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Modern society grapples with socio‐environmental challenges such as pandemics, climate change, resource depletion, and poverty alleviation. Recent research underscores the crucial role of intermediaries in expediting the shift towards sustainability management. This study examines how intermediaries influence sociotechnical transitions towards

Adsorption of $^4$He on a single C$_{60}$ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The adsorption of $^4$He inside and outside a single fullerene C$_{60}$ is studied. A physisorption potential is proposed. The energetics and structural features of C$_{60}$-$^4$He$_N$ clusters are investigated. Particular attention is paid to the growth of the highly pronounced layered density profile.

open access: yesRevista Agrogeoambiental, 2010
Os sistemas convencionais de fornecimento de energia elétrica nem sempre constituem a melhor opção para satisfazer as demandas do setor rural, por isso existe uma constante necessidade de se pesquisar sobre a utilização de fontes alternativas de energia.

The $Λ_0$ Polarization and the Recombination Mechanism [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We use the recombination and the Thomas Precession Model to obtain a prediction for the $\Lambda _0$ polarization in the $p+p \to \Lambda_0+X$ reaction. We study the effect of the recombination function on the $\Lambda_0$ polarization.

SISTEMAS RESIDENCIAIS DE ENERGIA SOLAR FOTOVOLTAICA

open access: yes, 2022
