Les systèmes d’appréciation de la valeur énergétique des aliments pour le porc

open access: yesINRAE Productions Animales, 1993

Valuing fuel diversification in optimal investment policies for electricity generation portfolios [PDF]

open access: yes
Optimal capacity allocation for investments in electricity generation assets can be deterministically derived by comparing technology specific long-term and short-term marginal costs.

k‐Selective Electrical‐to‐Magnon Transduction with Finite‐Element‐Resolved Sub‐Micron Nanoantennas

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
We introduce a coupled finite‐element‐finite‐difference framework that links impedance‐matched nanoantenna geometries to propagating spin‐wave dynamics, capturing skin effects, proximity effects, and taper leakage beyond uniform‐current models. Applied to coplanar‐waveguide and stripline nanoantennas on yttrium‐iron‐garnet, the simulations achieve ...

Rola odnawialnych źródeł energii w Krajowym Systemie Elektroenergetycznym

open access: yesPrace Komisji Geografii Przemysłu Polskiego Towarzystwa Geograficznego, 2015

Efficiency versus Robustness of Markets - Why improving market efficiency should not be the only objective of market regulation [PDF]

open access: yes
The efficiency of capital markets has been questioned almost as long as the efficient market hypothesis had been worked out. Numerous critics have been formulated against this hypothesis, questioning notably the behavioural assumptions underlying the ...

Ultra‐High‐Efficiency On‐Chip CO2 Conversion by Nanosecond Self‐Pulsing Micro‐Plasma Devices

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
A micro‐plasma chip with sub‐10‐μm electrode gaps is introduced for efficient CO2‐to‐CO conversion. The device self‐converts a DC power supply into nanosecond pulses, producing field‐emission electrons that vibrationally excite CO2, driving dissociation via the ladder‐climbing mechanism. A scaled‐up chip array achieves 30% single‐pass conversion and 50%

Decentralized energy supply and electricity market structures [PDF]

open access: yes
Small decentralized power generation units (DG) are politically promoted because of their potential to reduce GHG-emissions and the existing dependency on fossil fuels.

Dark Energy [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2011
Dark energy models account for the present accelerated expansion of the universe. Many models were suggested and investigated, based on very different physical principles. We will review some representative models emphasizing similarities and differences between these various approaches.

Photochemistry of Aromatic N‐Oxides in Water Probed by Time‐Resolved X‐ray Absorption Spectroscopy

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved XAS at the nitrogen and oxygen K‐edges is applied to the photorearrangement of two N‐oxides in water. Pyridine N‐oxide rapidly forms the oxaziridine isomer. Pyridazine N‐oxide undergoes ring opening to the diazo compound, without any evidence of intermediates.

Smooth anti-reflective three-dimensional textures for liquid phase crystallized silicon thin-film solar cells on glass

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Recently, liquid phase crystallization of thin silicon films has emerged as a candidate for thin-film photovoltaics. On 10 μm thin absorbers, wafer-equivalent morphologies and open-circuit voltages were reached, leading to 13.2% record efficiency ...
