Co‐Doping Approach for Enhanced Electron Extraction to TiO2 for Stable Inorganic Perovskite Solar Cells [PDF]
Inorganic perovskite CsPbI3 solar cells hold great potential for improving the operational stability of perovskite photovoltaics. However, electron extraction is limited by the low conductivity of TiO2, representing a bottleneck for achieving stable ...

Ground‐mounted solar photovoltaic developments have a significant negative effect on bat activity, and should be considered in appropriate planning legislation and policy. Solar photovoltaic developments should be screened in Environmental Impact Assessments for ecological impacts, and appropriate mitigation (e.g.

Defects in Hybrid Perovskites: The Secret of Efficient Charge Transport
Time of flight currents shed light on the interaction of free electrons and holes with defects in MAPbI3 perovskite. Reconstruction of carrier transport dynamics reveals the effect of defects on diffusion length, lifetime, and mobility. Photo‐Hall and thermoelectric spectroscopies assess parameters of defects.

On the prospect of identifying visible emissions from optical measurements of self-assembled QDs
The work presented here focuses on the optical properties of molecular beam epitaxy-grown self-organized InAs quantum dots (QDs). Under low excitation power densities, the photoluminescence (PL) spectrum of the structure under study exhibits a double ...

With the use of a synergic and multiscale approach that brings together experiments and theory, a detailed insight into the electronic structure of FAPbBr3 along with the description of the ultrafast dynamics of photoexcited carriers is provided. The multiscale methodology allows the exploration of novel strategies for the design of perovskite‐based ...

Insectivorous bats alter their flight and feeding behaviour at ground‐mounted solar farms
The negative effects of solar farms on bat flight and feeding behaviour should be considered when solar energy projects are planned. Research is needed to understand the mechanisms underlying the effects; for example, shading underneath solar panels may reduce plant biomass and therefore insect prey availability.

Detection of optical emissions from deep localized states in a self-assembled InAs/GaAs QD structure
This work reports on the optical properties of self-assembled InAs/GaAs quantum dots (QDs) grown by molecular beam epitaxy. A sigmoidal temperature-dependent variation of the bandgap energy of the dots is detected from the photoluminescence (PL ...
