An Advanced Microscopic Energy Consumption Model for Automated Vehicle:Development, Calibration, Verification [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
The automated vehicle (AV) equipped with the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system is expected to reduce the fuel consumption for the intelligent transportation system. This paper presents the Advanced ACC-Micro (AA-Micro) model, a new energy consumption model based on micro trajectory data, calibrated and verified by empirical data.

Energy Consumption in the Office

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper we present measurements of energy usage of standard office computing equipment. Using a data trace lasting for all of March 2012 we analyse the energy use of office equipment such as desktop computers, a printer and a fridge. The interest in a more detailed knowledge of the energy usage patterns of these appliances is driven by the desire

Impact of enhanced leaf model on dose calculation accuracy in single‐isocenter multitarget stereotactic radiosurgery treatments

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose Single‐isocenter multitarget (SIMT) radiosurgery has become increasingly popular as advancement in planning and delivery systems have made this approach clinically viable. With targets varying in size and distance from isocenter, SIMT plans are highly complex with dynamic multileaf collimator (MLC) motion.

Renewable and nonrenewable energy consumption, real GDP and CO2 emissions nexus: a structural VAR approach in Pakistan [PDF]

open access: yes
Any rise in real GDP crafts higher energy demand in Pakistan. This short-term rising energy requirement is fulfilled with the help of nonrenewable and renewable energy consumption, but nonrenewable energy consumption adds more in it.
