Resveratrol cytotoxicity is energy‐dependent
Journal of Food Biochemistry, 2019Resveratrol is a phytochemical that may promote health. However, it has also been reported to be a toxic compound. The molecular mechanism by which resveratrol acts remains unclear. The inhibition of the oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) pathway appears to be the molecular mechanism of resveratrol.

Energy dependence of the calcium paradox
Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology, 1978Abstract Reperfusion of isolated rat hearts with Ca 2+ -containing medium, after a short Ca 2+ -free perfusion period, results in irreversible cell damage (calcium paradox). In this study this type of cell damage was studied in the anoxic rat heart, in the presence and absence of glucose.

Energy dependence of color transparency
Physical Review D, 1991A quantum-mechanical approach is used to study high-momentum-transfer reactions in which a nucleon is knocked out of a target nucleus. It is found that the nuclear interactions of the wave packet produced in such a hard interaction may cancel, so that the nuclear medium is transparent.

Path Dependencies in the Energy System
2018 IEEE International Conference on Engineering, Technology and Innovation (ICE/ITMC), 2018The transformation of the energy system encounters in practice many barriers, especially in the heating sector. The main aim of this work is to uncover why it is particularly difficult to transform this sector. For this purpose, this paper analyzes the lock-in mechanisms that set path dependencies in the German heating sector.

The energy dependence syndrome
Drug and Alcohol Review, 1990AbstractTwo major global problems face mankind in the forthcoming decades. The rapidly increasing populations, especially in developing countries, are already causing social and economic strain in many areas, and the escalating demand for energy at both the individual and collective levels are matters requiring serious global attention.

On the Cycle-Dependence of Topological Resonance Energy
Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling, 2007The topological resonance energy (TRE) was conceived in the 1970s. From the very beginning, it was known that TRE is equal to the collective energy-effect of all cycles present in a conjugated molecule. Also in the 1970s a theory of cyclic conjugation was elaborated, by means of which it was possible to compute the energy-effect ef(Z) of each ...

Energy Dependence of Reactions at Thresholds
Physical Review, 1957As a development of Wigner's work on the subject, the behavior of nuclear reactions at thresholds is discussed by employing the $\mathcal{R}$-matrix formalism with special attention to the effect of a nuclear reaction threshold in a particular channel on the energy dependence in other channels.
