Z‐Scheme Water Splitting Systems Based on Solid‐State Electron Conductors
This review examines the latest advances in Z‐scheme overall water splitting (OWS) systems for solar hydrogen production. These systems consist of suspended or immobilized hydrogen evolution photocatalysts (HEPs) and oxygen evolution photocatalysts (OEPs).

By integrating machine learning into flux‐regulated crystallization (FRC), accurate prediction of solvent evaporation rates in real time, improving crystallization control and reducing crystal growth variability by over threefold, is achieved. This enhances the reproducibility and quality of perovskite single crystals, leading to reproducible ...

Bimetallic Nanoparticles as Cocatalysts for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production
Recent developments have introduced bimetallic nanoparticles as effective cocatalysts for photocatalytic systems. This review explores the rapidly expanding research on bimetallic cocatalysts for photocatalytic production of hydrogen, emphasizing the creation of carrier‐selective contacts, localized surface plasmon resonance effects, methodologies for ...

The NNR‐n series of oligomeric nanographenes delivers exceptional emission performance. This work shows that this performance is originated by their ladder‐type structure, which effectively deactivates low‐frequency vibronic modes. This deactivation neglects the main pathway for non‐emissive deactivation, even in the near‐infrared region. The potential

The lack of sound and vibration while starting the drive system of an electric vehicle (EV) is one of the major differences compared to a conventional car with a combustion engine. Most EVs provide a visual feedback about the energy level to the driver.

AbstractThe second law of thermodynamics is central to understanding ecology, although it is ignored by most ecology text books. It follows from the second law that all organisms must draw free energy from their environment and return waste products back to their environment.

An equation, which describes the flow of energy in energy conservative semi- and full discretizations, of hyperbolic equations is derived. While the form of this equation for semi-discretizations verifies known principles of group velocity and wave propagation in periodic structures, its form and strict applicability to discrete-space-discrete-time ...

Energy flows anisotropically through the residues and vibrational states of globular proteins. A variety of experimental and computational studies have identified energy transport channels traversing many residues, in some cases connecting functional regions, potentially important in allostery, and in other cases having no apparent function.

Energy Flow in Electric Systems- the Vi Energy-Flow Postulate
Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, 1942The conditions which a valid postulated electric-energy flow must satisfy are given and are stated to be insufficient for its unique determination. The commonly used Vi energy-flow postulate is shown by examples to be not generally valid, but by adding a simple term it can be made equally valid with other valid energy-flow postulates.
