Energy levels and gamma transitions in 70Ga

Abstract The energy levels of 70 Ga have been studied with a magnetic spectrograph by means of (d, p) and (d, t) reactions induced by 12 MeV deuterons. Energy level transitions of gas in a 2D nanopore

An analytical study of gas behavior in a 2D nanopore was performed. It is shown that the temperature dependence of gas energy can be stepwise due to transitions from one size-quantized subband to another. Taking into account quantum size effects results in energy level transitions governed by the nanopore size, temperature and gas density.

Energy levels and γ-ray transitions in 147Pm

Abstract Gamma rays emitted in the decay of 147Nd have been studied using Ge(Li) detectors as singles and coincidence spectrometers. Four new γ-rays of 53.1, 81.15, 149.4 and 191.24 keV have been detected and all incorporated into the decay scheme.

Energy Levels and Transition Probabilities in Mo XIV

An investigation is made of the energy levels in Mo XIV (Cu I isoelectronic sequence). Published material is combined with previously unreported measurements to obtain reasonably accurate energies for terms withn= 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. For the ionization limit we find the value 2 441 ± 2 kK.

‘‘Pinning’’ of energy levels of transition-metal impurities

The dependence of cation-substitutional transition-metal impurity levels upon the host semiconductor is calculated self-consistently in a defect-molecule approach. Heterojunction band lineups and Schottky barrier heights can be calculated within the same tight-binding model.
