A multigroup radiation analysis of the light ion beam energy conversion into X rays
Recently, we have developed a one-dimensional radiation-hydrodynamics code called SARA that implicitly solves the multigroup radiation transport equations. A high-order differencing algorithm as well as multifrequency-grey synthetic acceleration techniques are used to obtain a robust algorithm that can be extensively used for radiation energy transport

Mixed energy reactor simulations using the discrete generalized multigroup method
An innovative approach to mixed energy simulations was proposed. This approach is based on the generalized multigroup theory using discrete orthogonal polynomials. The discrete expansion provides a link between a coarse group structure and a fine group structure, thus allowing for coarse group calculations to provide an approximation of the within ...

Transport analysis of measured neutron leakage spectra from spheres as tests of evaluated high energy cross sections [PDF]
Integral tests of evaluated ENDF/B high-energy cross sections have been made by comparing measured and calculated neutron leakage flux spectra from spheres of various materials. An Am-Be (alpha,n) source was used to provide fast neutrons at the center of
