Hepatocyte BDNF Acts as a Novel Immune Checkpoint to Restrain TLR4‐Mediated Acute Hepatitis
This study identifies hepatocyte‐derived BDNF as an endogenous TLR4 antagonist that alleviates acute hepatitis. BDNF is downregulated in hepatocytes via REST‐mediated transcriptional repression during ALI/ALF. Mechanistically, BDNF binds to TLR4 on macrophages to suppress inflammation.

Disposition Choices Based on Energy Footprints instead of Recovery Quota [PDF]
This paper addresses the impact of disposition choices on the energy use of closed-loop supply chains. In a life cycle perspective, energy used in the forward chain which is locked up in the product is recaptured in recovery.

Inspired by the mimosa, this study develops a flexible triboelectric nanogenerator with a novel microneedle array and battery‐mimetic architecture. The device introduces a spontaneous charge self‐regulation mechanism that confines the electric field below the air breakdown threshold, and achieves an outstanding charge density of 396.50 µC m−2 ...
