Cross-attention-based hybrid feature fusion network for state-of-health estimation of lithium-ion batteries

open access: yesScientific Reports
Estimating the state of health (SOH) of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) is crucial in a battery management system. To improve the accuracy of SOH estimation, a new method that combines a Gramian angle field (GAF) and multi–model fusion is proposed.

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Decoupled damping torque coefficient of equivalent heterogeneous wind farm for power system low-frequency oscillation analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
With increasing integration of doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs), the inertia provided by synchronous generators (SGs) reduces, thus power system low-frequency oscillation (LFO) will be intensified. The virtual synchronous generator (VSG) installed

On Energy Saving in IEEE 802.11ax

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Wi-Fi access has become a fundamental technology for smart building as reliable and efficient Wi-Fi is the foundation that effectively enable indoor smart devices in smart buildings. Recently, the IEEE 802.11ax standards were introduced to facilitate high-bandwidth wireless transmission in high-density environment as the new generation wireless local ...

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

AC Humidity Sensing Properties of Mesoporous K2CO3-SiO2 Composite Materials

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2016
The mesoporous silica SBA-15 and mesoporous K2CO3-SiO2 composite material were synthesized. Characterization of microstructure and morphology of materials indicated that the composite material had saved the porous framework of mesoporous silica SBA-15 ...
