A systemic approach to analyze integrated energy system modeling tools: A review of national models [PDF]
We reviewed the literature focusing on nineteen integrated Energy System Models (ESMs) to: (i) identify the capabilities and shortcomings of current ESMs to analyze adequately the transition towards a low-carbon energy system; (ii) assess the performance

Energy Modeling of Cluster System
2018 IEEE International Workshop on Signal Processing Systems (SiPS), 2018Ever increasing energy consumption has been a major cost for maintaining data centers, and there is urgent need to reduce the energy consumption of data centers. The key components contribute a large portion of energy consumed in a computing node, both in terms of electrical cost and cooling cost.

Balanced HSI for Energy – A System Dynamics Model for Energy Systems
AHFE International, 2022New technologies offer new potentials to tackle everyday challenges, but this has only a chance to become true if technology is intelligently integrated with humans, organizations and environment. A good balance between different stakeholders and tension fields is one of the most challenging research questions of Human Systems Integration.

Advances in Energy Systems Modeling and Control
2007 American Control Conference, 2007This paper gives an overview of dynamic modeling for energy systems related to vapor compression cycles. Basic components of these systems are described and equations of state are developed. For the heat exchangers, these equations of state are based on a moving boundary models. A reduction of system model order, and insight into primary dynamic modes,

Energy model development for ACB systems
2019 IEEE 15th International Conference on Control and Automation (ICCA), 2019Active chilled beam (ACB) systems are reliable air conditioning and mechanical ventilation solutions. A simple model of the heat transfer rate for ACB systems is proposed in this paper. Besides, the energy models for the whole ACB systems are also developed. The full-scale experiments are conducted to validate the models.

Modeling Energy Consumption of Memory Systems
2015 Third International Symposium on Computing and Networking (CANDAR), 2015The energy consumption of memory is one of the important metrics to evaluate memory systems. However, previous approaches such as using cycle accurate CPU and memory simulators require a long execution time for simulation. We are developing a model of energy consumption of DRAM-and NVM-based main memory, which allows estimating the energy consumption ...

The purpose of this chapter is to describe an integrated management model for the energy sector of a country. Energy poses a problem for the world not only for the future, when probably most of the easily accessible sources of petroleum and natural gas would be exhausted, but for today as well.
