Full‐Field Damage Monitoring in Architected Lattices Using In situ Electrical Impedance Tomography
In situ electrical impedance tomography (EIT) turns 3D‐printed, CNT‐infused architected lattices into full‐field damage‐imaging systems. Tunable Voronoi‐based geometries act as active sensing architectures, enabling conductivity maps to detect early‐stage damage and localise sequential ligament fracture before catastrophic failure.

A Theoretical Model of Optimal Compliance Decisions under Different Penalty Designs in Emissions Trading Markets [PDF]
This paper employs a theoretical model to examine compliance incentives and market efficiency under three penalty types: the fixed penalty rate, which uses a constant marginal financial penalty; the make-good provision (quantity penalty), where each ...

Defect‐free transfer principles enable scalable fabrication of 15 µm‐thin garnet‐based hybrid solid electrolytes. Hansen solubility parameters correlate interfacial compatibility with coating, transfer, and impregnation behavior, guiding rational selection of slurry/substrate, binder/substrate, and binder/polymer electrolyte combinations.

Stochastic Income Statement Planning and Emissions Trading [PDF]
Since the introduction of the European CO2 emissions trading system (EU ETS), the development of CO2 allowance prices is a new risk factor for enterprises taking part in this system.

Controlled carbonization of an Al‐MOF partially decomposes its linkers, exposing coordinatively unsaturated Al centers within an oxide/carbon composite. The resulting Lewis acid sites, rather than surface area, govern organochlorine capture: the composite removes chemically diverse organochlorines from waste plastic pyrolysis oil, outperforms a ...

The interaction between emissions trading and energy and competition policies [PDF]
Emissions trading is a “cap and trade” regulation aimed at reducing the cost of meeting environmental targets. This paper studies how this regulation interacts with energy and competition policies.

Description: Indium metal serves as a reversible calcium‐alloying negative electrode. By transitioning from planar electrodes to powders and (sub‐)micron indium particles, the specific surface area is increased, improving the areal capacity density and cycling stability for calcium‐based batteries.

A self‐healable polymer matrix, crosslinked via dynamic imine bonds, is synergistically coupled with a LiPF6–LiDFOB dual‐salt system to decouple Li+ from the polymer matrix, enabling fast Li+ transport. This strategy offers an effective pathway toward high‐performance, next‐generation gel‐polymer‐based Li‐metal batteries.

Conversion‐induced sulfur expansion generates strong mechanical constraints and localized stresses within solid‐state Li‐S cathodes. Heterogeneous solid‐electrolyte confinement creates tensile strain‐energy hotspots that govern particle cracking. Larger sulfur particles accelerate fracture, while higher porosity relaxes constraint and delays damage ...
