J Anim Ecol, 2022 Foraging tactics and diet are associated with a personality trait in red knots, independent of morphological differences. Slower explorers use only tactile foraging and eat hard‐shelled prey, while faster explorers use both tactile and visual foraging tactics and consume more soft than hard‐shelled prey.
