Investigation of Tribological and Thermophysical Properties of Engine Oil Containing Nano additives
Materials Today: Proceedings, 2016Abstract The present study is concerned with resolving issues pertaining to problems involving engine oil and its effective performance. It recommends the usage of a Nano fluid prepared with engine oil as the base fluid, possessing better and enhanced thermo-physical, lubrication properties compared to base engine oil.

ABSTRACTIn this study, a predictive method is presented to estimate the variation of three thermophysical properties (thermal diffusivity, specific heat, and thermal conductivity) of 32 AISI‐SAE commercial classes of rolled and annealed steels, at a working temperature from 0°C to 800°C and with a composition (C, Mn, S, P, Ni, Si, Mo, Cr, V).
