Coordinating Mesopore Geometry and Interfacial Water Dynamics for Iron‐Site Evolution in Nitrate Electroreduction

Mesopore geometry programs the working‐state interface of Fe single sites during nitrate electroreduction. Hexagonal channels reorganize interfacial water and accompany the reversible evolution of isolated Fe─O4‐like sites toward Fe─O─Fe‐like motifs, promoting successive hydrogenation toward NH3 with a Faradaic efficiency of 99.1%.
