Performance Analysis of Routing Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol Load Balancing for IPv6

2019 Fourth International Conference on Informatics and Computing (ICIC), 2019
The increasing request of IP Address allocation makes the availability of available IP Address much reduced, especially the allocation of IPv4 provision. To handle IP Addresses request, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) an internet protocols have been adopted as the next-generation Internet technology.

Easy-EIGRP: A Didactic Application for Teaching and Learning of the Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol

2010 Sixth International Conference on Networking and Services, 2010
In this paper we present Easy-EIGRP, an implementation of the EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) protocol developed in Java. Its main goal is to be used as a didactic application in introductory and advanced network courses to support the teaching and learning of EIGRP.

On the Internet routing protocol Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol: is it optimal?

International Transactions in Operational Research, 2006
Summary: Cisco's proprietary routing protocol, EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) is one of the two most widely employed routing protocols in the Internet. The underlying algorithm is reputed to be optimal with respect to the EIGRP metric. We construct a counterexample to illustrate that it is not optimal.

Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol with IPv4 and IPv6 Support for OMNeT++

Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing, 2015
Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol seized to be Cisco proprietary since its release in form of IETF’s informational draft. EIGRP has history of hybrid routing protocol widely deployed by Cisco’s customers due to its performance and advanced features. This paper introduces free-available simulation module that complies with RFC specification and

Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol for OMNeT++

Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Simulation and Modeling Methodologies, Technologies and Applications, 2014
Cisco's EIGRP is a hybrid routing protocol between distance vector and link-state routing protocols. EIGRP offers routing based on composite metric, which takes into account multiple factors and allows more granular and precise routing decisions based on the current state of the network.
