Relay-enhanced Cellular Performance of OFDMA-TDD System for Mobile Wireless Broadband Services

2007 16th International Conference on Computer Communications and Networks, 2007
Multi-hop relay (MR) and repeater are useful means of improving system throughput and coverage in the cellular mobile packet access system, as carrier-to-interference ratio can be improved with deploying them in the heavily shadowed region. In this paper, we investigate the bandwidth efficiency and the associated service outage performance for the ...

Bandwidth-Enhanced Broadband Dual-Polarized Antennas for 2G/3G/4G and IMT Services

IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2018
Two bandwidth-enhanced broadband dual-polarized antennas (BEBDPAs) are proposed for 2G/3G/4G wireless communication systems and international mobile telecommunication services. The first BEBDPA is composed of two perpendicularly crossed dipoles.

Isolation enhancement of a four-element broadband MIMO antenna for 5G mobile handsets

2019 International Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Symposium - China (ACES), 2019
A compact broadband four-element MIMO antenna for mobile handsets is presented. The proposed antenna operates over a broad frequency band including LTE2300/2500, WLAN/WiMAX, LTE42/43/46, and lower UWB bands. It consists of four identical planar radiation elements, which are distributed at four corners of the dielectric substrate.
