Left‐displaced abomasum in a late‐pregnant goat

Abstract A female goat in late gestation was presented to a veterinary teaching hospital due to the sudden onset of abdominal distention and signs of cardiovascular depression. On admission, the goat exhibited an overloaded rumen, which seemed noticeably distant from the abdominal wall on the left‐hand side.

Paired images obtained before and after parabulbar betamethasone (0.5 mL per eye; April 22 and May 6, 2025) demonstrate improved horizontal alignment and reduction of vertical deviations in primary gaze, upgaze, right gaze, and left gaze.

Splenic and pancreatic abscessation with vascular abnormalities in a dog

Abstract A 3‐year‐old male neutered Collie was presented with gastrointestinal signs, lethargy and weight loss, following a history of pancreatitis. Computed tomography revealed large, coalescing nodules in both the pancreas and spleen, and abdominal effusion. Analysis of effusion revealed degenerative neutrophils with intracellular bacteria.
