Actions, enrichments and universal enrichments

2023
This thesis studies the relationship between actions of monoidal categories and enrichments in monoidal categories, and uses these ideas to prove the existence of universal enrichments of a category. It first details the correspondence between actions of a monoidal category š“„ on a category š“ which are right-closed, and enrichments of š“ in š“„ which are ...

Enrichment in Vitamins

2007
Vitamin concentration in hen feed is the most important factor in determining vitamin content in the egg. This is particularly true for fat-soluble vitamins. The lipid components of the egg, including fat-soluble vitamins, are only present in the yolk. During the last 10 days before hen ovulation, the lipids of dietary origin are absorbed and deposited

Is Job Enrichment Really Enriching? [PDF]

open access: possible, 2006
This study uses a survey of Canadian workers with rich, matched data on job characteristics to examine whether ā€œenrichedā€ job design, with features like quality circles, feedback, suggestion programs, and task teams, affects job satisfaction. We identify two competing hypotheses on the relationship between enriched jobs and job satisfaction.
