Operator Hydrodynamics, OTOCs, and Entanglement Growth in Systems without Conservation Laws [PDF]
Thermalization and scrambling are the subject of much recent study from the perspective of many-body quantum systems with locally bounded Hilbert spaces (`spin chains'), quantum field theory and holography.

Approximate encoding of quantum states using shallow circuits
Quantum algorithms and simulations often require the preparation of complex states through sequences of 2-qubit gates. For a generic quantum state, the number of required gates grows exponentially with the number of qubits, becoming unfeasible on near ...

Coherence of assistance and assisted maximally coherent states
Coherence and entanglement are fundamental concepts in resource theory. The coherence (entanglement) of assistance is the coherence (entanglement) that can be extracted assisted by another party with local measurement and classical communication.

Maximally entangled state and fully entangled fraction [PDF]
We study maximally entangled states and fully entangled fraction in general d'\otimes d (d'\geq d) systems. Necessary and sufficient conditions for maximally entangled pure and mixed states are presented. As a natural generalization of the usual fully entangled fraction for d\otimes d systems, we define the maximal overlap between a given quantum state

Gravitationally Induced Entanglement between Two Massive Particles is Sufficient Evidence of Quantum Effects in Gravity. [PDF]
All existing quantum-gravity proposals are extremely hard to test in practice. Quantum effects in the gravitational field are exceptionally small, unlike those in the electromagnetic field.

Entanglement polygon inequality in qubit systems
We prove a set of tight entanglement inequalities for arbitrary N -qubit pure states. By focusing on all bi-partite marginal entanglements between each single qubit and its remaining partners, we show that the inequalities provide an upper bound for each

Purpose Linear accelerator (LINAC)‐based single‐isocenter multi‐target (SIMT) treatment has streamlined the cranial stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) workflow. Though efficient, SIMT delivery adds additional challenges that should be considered, including increased sensitivity to rotational errors for off‐isocenter targets.

Entanglement versus energy in quantum spin models [PDF]
We study entanglement properties of all eigenstates of the Heisenberg XXX model, and find that the entanglement and mixedness for a pair of nearest-neighbor qubits are completely determined by the corresponding eigenenergies. Specifically, the negativity of the eigenenergy implies pairwise entanglement.

The hierarchies of "witnesses" and the properties and characterization of entangled states as super entanglement witnesses [PDF]
Quantum entanglement lies at the heart of quantum mechanical and quantum information processing. Following the question who \emph{witnesses} entanglement witnesses, we show entangled states play as the role of super entanglement witnesses. We show separable states play the role of "super super entanglement witnesses" and "witness" other observables ...
