Retractions in Rheumatology: Trends, Causes, and Implications for Research Integrity
Objective We aimed to describe the trends and main reasons for study retraction in rheumatology literature. Methods We reviewed the Retraction Watch database to identify retracted articles in rheumatology. We recorded the main study characteristics, authors’ countries, reasons for retraction, time from publication to retraction, and trends over time ...

Quantum correlations in and beyond quantum entanglement in bipartite continuous variable systems
This thesis explores the role of non-classical correlations in bipartite continuous variable quantum systems, and the approach taken is three-fold. We show that given two initially entangled atomic ensembles, it is possible to probabilistically increase ...

Entanglement buffering with multiple quantum memories
Entanglement buffers are systems that maintain high-quality entanglement, ensuring it is readily available for consumption when needed. We study the performance of a two-node buffer, where each node has one long-lived quantum memory for entanglement ...

Objective The American College of Rheumatology recommends HLA‐B*58:01 allele testing before the initiation of allopurinol, specifically among Asian and African American/Black patients, due to their increased risk for severe hypersensitivity reactions. However, testing rates remain low at many health care facilities.

Objective Rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) are leading causes of physical disability, necessitating support with activities of daily living. This study describes social care received by patients with RMDs in two disparate regions of England: Salford (urban) and Norfolk (rural).

Objective Clinical response to mycophenolic acid (MPA) is highly heterogeneous; thus, therapeutic drug level monitoring (TDM) may help improve treatment efficacy. This systematic review and meta‐analysis examined therapeutic ranges for MPA levels associated with better outcomes and safety in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE ...

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

Entangling power of non-entangling channels
There are processes that cannot generate entanglement but may, nevertheless, amplify entanglement already present in a system. Here, we show that a non-entangling operation can increase the Schmidt number of a quantum state only if it can generate entanglement with some non-zero probability.

Entanglement of collaboration [PDF]
The entanglement of collaboration (EoC) quantifies the maximum amount of entanglement, that can be generated between two parties, A and B, given collaboration with N-2 other parties, when the N parties share a multipartite (possibly mixed) state and where the collaboration consists of local operations and classical communication (LOCC) by all parties ...
