We present a construction of highly entangled states defined on the topology of a platonic solid using tensor networks based on ancillary Absolute Maximally Entangled (AME) states. We illustrate the idea using the example of a quantum state based on AME(5,2) over a dodecahedron.

Device-independent characterization of entanglement based on bell nonlocality
Quantum entanglement, has been acknowledged as a precious resource due to its inherent nonclassical correlations between subsystems. These quantum correlations have the potential for many quantum processes, including canonical ones: quantum cryptography,

Entanglement and properties [PDF]
AbstractVarious topics concerning the entanglement of composite quantum systems are considered with particular emphasis concerning the strict relations of such a problem with the one of attributing objective properties to the constituents. In particular we will focus our attention to composite quantum systems composed of identical constituents, with ...

Genuine multipartite entanglement measures based on multi-party teleportation capability
Quantifying entanglement is vital to understand entanglement as a resource in quantum information processing, and many entanglement measures have been suggested for this purpose.

Topologically-ordered phases of matter at nonzero temperature are conjectured to exhibit universal patterns of long-range entanglement, which can be detected using the entanglement negativity, a mixed-state entanglement measure.

As the world becomes more interdependent and computing grows more collaborative, there is a need for new abstractions and tools to help users work together. We recently introduced entangled queries - a mechanism for information exchange between database queries [6].

Partial-norm of entanglement: entanglement monotones that are not monogamous
Quantum entanglement is known to be monogamous, i.e. it obeys strong constraints on how the entanglement can be distributed among multipartite systems. Almost all the entanglement monotones so far are shown to be monogamous.

Entanglement classification via operator size
In this work, multipartite entanglement is classified by polynomials. I show that the operator size is closely related to the entanglement structure. Given a generic quantum state, I define a series of subspaces generated by operators of different sizes ...

Entanglement of Superpositions [PDF]
Given a bipartite quantum state (in arbitrary dimension) and a decomposition of it as a superposition of two others, we find bounds on the entanglement of the superposition state in terms of the entanglement of the states being superposed. In the case that the two states being superposed are biorthogonal, the answer is simple, and, for example, the ...
