Holographic entanglement contour, bit threads, and the entanglement tsunami [PDF]
We study the entanglement contour, a quasi-local measure of entanglement, and propose a generic formula for the contour in 1+1d quantum systems. We use this formalism to investigate the real space entanglement structure of various static CFTs as well as local and global quantum quenches.

Abstract Is there any entanglement in the simplest ubiquitous bound system? We study the solutions to the time-independent Schrödinger equation for a hydrogenic system and devise two entanglement tests for free and localised states. For free hydrogenic systems, we compute the Schmidt basis diagonalisation for general energy eigenstates ...

The Effect of Quantum Noise on Multipartite Entanglement from a Cascaded Parametric Amplifier
The tripartite entanglement generated from a cascaded parametric amplifier is always present in the whole gain region in the ideal condition. However, in practical applications, the quantum entanglement is very fragile and easily deteriorated by quantum ...

We introduce quantum history states and their mathematical framework, thereby reinterpreting and extending the consistent histories approach to quantum theory. Through thought experiments, we demonstrate that our formalism allows us to analyze a quantum version of history in which we reconstruct the past by observations. In particular, we can pass from

Quantum thermalization through entanglement in an isolated many-body system [PDF]
To thermalize, or not to thermalize? Intuition tells us that an isolated physical system subjected to a sudden change (i.e., quenching) will evolve in a way that maximizes its entropy.

Entanglement Phase Transitions in Measurement-Only Dynamics [PDF]
Unitary circuits subject to repeated projective measurements can undergo an entanglement transition as a function of the measurement rate. This transition is generally understood in terms of a competition between the scrambling effects of unitary ...

We provide a summary of both seminal and recent results on typical entanglement. By typical values of entanglement, we refer here to values of entanglement quantifiers that (given a reasonable measure on the manifold of states) appear with arbitrarily high probability for quantum systems of sufficiently high dimensionality.

Abstract In gauge/gravity duality, matrix degrees of freedom on the gauge theory side play important roles for the emergent geometry. In this paper, we discuss how the entanglement on the gravity side can be described as the entanglement between matrix degrees of freedom.

Realization of the tradeoff between internal and external entanglement
We experimentally realize the internal and external entanglement tradeoff, which is a kind of entanglement monogamy relation different from that usually discussed. Using a source of twin photons, we find that the external entanglement in the twin photons

A canonical purification for the entanglement wedge cross-section [PDF]
In AdS/CFT we consider a class of bulk geometric quantities inside the entanglement wedge called reflected minimal surfaces. The areas of these surfaces are dual to the entanglement entropy associated to a canonical purification (the GNS state) that we ...
