Complete analysis of measurement-induced entanglement localization on a three-photon system

open access: yes, 2009
We discuss both theoretically and experimentally elementary two-photon polarization entanglement localization after break of entanglement caused by linear coupling of environmental photon with one of the system photons.

A useful way to obtain the central charge of entanglement Hamiltonian -- Nested entanglement entropy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we review how to obtain the central charge of a critical entanglement Hamiltonian through the nested entanglement entropy which was first introduced in [J. Lou et al. PRB 84, 245128 (2011)].

Qutrit entanglement [PDF]

open access: yesOptics Communications, 2000
We consider the separability of various joint states for N qutrits. We derive two results: (i) the separability condition for a two-qutrit state that is a mixture of the maximally mixed state and a maximally entangled state (such a state is a generalization of the Werner state for two qubits); (ii) upper and lower bounds on the size of the neighborhood

ATG4B is required for mTORC1‐mediated anabolic activity and is associated with clinical outcomes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The relationship between anabolic and catabolic processes governing lung cancer cell growth is nuanced. We show that ATG4B, an autophagy regulator, is elevated in lung cancer and that high ATG4B is associated with worse patient outcomes. Targeting ATG4B in cells reduces growth, protein synthesis, and mTORC1 activity, demonstrating a new relationship ...

Multiple-copy entanglement transformation and entanglement catalysis

open access: yes, 2004
We prove that any multiple-copy entanglement transformation [S. Bandyopadhyay, V. Roychowdhury, and U. Sen, Phys. Rev. A \textbf{65}, 052315 (2002)] can be implemented by a suitable entanglement-assisted local transformation [D. Jonathan and M. B. Plenio,

Can We Entangle Entanglement?

open access: yes, 2021
In this chapter, nested multilevel entanglement is formulated and discussed in terms of Matryoshka states. The generation of such states that contain nested patterns of entanglement, based on an anisotropic XY model has been proposed. Two classes of multilevel-entanglement- the Matryoshka Q-GHZ states and Matryoshka generalised GHZ states, are studied.

Characterizing entanglement [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2001
Quantum entanglement is at the heart of many tasks in quantum information. Apart from simple cases (low dimensions, few particles, pure states), however, the mathematical structure of entanglement is not yet fully understood. This tutorial is an introduction to our present knowledge about how to decide whether a given state is separable or entangled ...

Evolutionary dynamics of the chloroplast genome in Daphne (Thymelaeaceae): comparative analysis with related genera and insights into phylogenetics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Comparative analysis of chloroplast genomes from 14 genera of Thymelaeaceae revealed variation in gene content, ranging from 128 to 142 genes, primarily influenced by IR expansion/contraction events and pseudogenization of ndhF, ndhI, and ndhG. Two large inversions were detected within the large single‐copy region, including a synapomorphic inversion ...

Coherence of assistance and assisted maximally coherent states

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Coherence and entanglement are fundamental concepts in resource theory. The coherence (entanglement) of assistance is the coherence (entanglement) that can be extracted assisted by another party with local measurement and classical communication.
