ENTANGLEMENT CONCENTRATION WITH CROSS-KERR NONLINEARITY
International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2014We propose a protocol for realizing two entanglement concentration scheme with cross-Kerr nonlinearity and double cross-phase modulation method. In our protocols, two remote parties do not require the accurate information of the less entangled state and the double cross-phase modulation is introduced to overcome the errors caused by the imperfect Kerr

Entanglement concentration for W-type entangled coherent states
Chinese Physics B, 2014An entangled coherent state (ECS) is one type of entanglement, which is widely discussed in the application of quantum information processing (QIP). In this paper, we propose an entanglement concentration protocol (ECP) to distill the maximally entangled W-type ECS from the partially entangled W-type ECS. In the ECP, we adopt the balanced beam splitter

ENTANGLEMENT CONCENTRATION AND DILUTION REVISITED
International Journal of Quantum Information, 2009In this paper, we revisit the entanglement concentration protocol of Bennett et al. and the entanglement dilution protocol of Lo and Popescu via the method of types and provide a simple upper bound on the coefficient of the [Formula: see text] bound on the classical communication cost of the Lo-Popescu protocol.

Entanglement concentration using a path–spin hybrid-entangled state
Physica Scripta, 2011The entanglement concentration processes for unknown and known non-maximally spin-entangled states are investigated with the aid of intraparticle path–spin hybrid entanglement based on quantum entanglement swapping. The results indicate that the maximally entangled state can be gained with a certain probability by applying operations at local region ...

Concentrating partial entanglement of two photons via entanglement swapping
SPIE Proceedings, 2006We report an entanglement concentration scheme in which a photon pair in the |Ψ(-)≫ Bell-state is obtained from two pairs of partially (or non-maximally) entangled photons. Our scheme is built upon linear optics only and does not require photon-number resolving detectors.

Parity-measurement-based entanglement concentration
Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2009We propose a scheme for bipartite electron-spin entanglement concentration via a double-quantum-dot system. The current scheme only requires spin-parity measurements and single-qubit measurements combined with one additional qubit rather than the routine Bell state measurement.

Weak values and entanglement concentration
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2009Weak measurements are a special class of indirect measurements where the signal system is both pre and post‐selected in particular quantum states. The accompanying probe system records information about the associated weak value of the interaction between the pre and post‐selection and is modified by it.
