Entanglement sudden death in a spin channel

Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2007
We study the dynamic evolution of the entanglement in a spin channel with an XY-type interaction initially in an entangled state. We find that the phenomenon of entanglement sudden death (ESD) appears in the evolution of entanglement for some initial states.

Pre-management of Entanglement Sudden Death

The Rochester Conferences on Coherence and Quantum Optics and the Quantum Information and Measurement meeting, 2013
We report a summary of our work on management of entanglement sudden death (ESD) through initial conditions. ESD phases are shown for a generic two-qubit system that undergoes local but unbalanced amplitude damping dissipations.

Postponing entanglement sudden death by quantum interferences

Physica Scripta
Abstract We investigate the entanglement dynamics in a 2 ⨂ 3 quantum system consisting of a two-level atom and a three-level V-type atom interacting independently with their environments. Pure and mixed initial states, including one-parameter and two-parameter states of the atoms are analyzed.

Determining Separability with Entanglement of Formation and Entanglement Sudden Death

Chinese Physics Letters, 2015
An algorithm is developed to calculate the entanglement of formation for bipartite quantum states to determine numerically the sufficient condition of separability. The algorithm is applied to two 3×3 positive partial transpose states mixed with white noise.

A NEW FEATURE ON THE SUDDEN DEATH OF ENTANGLEMENT

Modern Physics Letters B, 2008
Based on the exactly analytic solution obtained of the intensity-dependent Jaynes–Cummings model for a certain class of initial entangled mixed states, we explore the time evolution of the entanglement between two atoms, initially non-locally correlated and separately interacting with two distinct cavities.
