Sudden Death of Entanglement Induced by Polarization Mode Dispersion [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2011
We study the decoherence of polarization-entangled photon pairs subject to the effects of polarization mode dispersion, the chief polarization decoherence mechanism in optical fibers. We show that fiber propagation reveals an intriguing interplay between the concepts of entanglement sudden death, decoherence-free sub-spaces and non-locality.

Time-invariant entanglement and sudden death of nonlocality [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2016
We investigate both theoretically and experimentally the dynamics of entanglement and non-locality for two qubits immersed in a global pure dephasing environment. We demonstrate the existence of a class of states for which entanglement is forever frozen during the dynamics, even if the state of the system does evolve.

Quantum Correlation Dynamics in Controlled Two-Coupled-Qubit Systems

open access: yesEntropy, 2020
We study and compare the time evolutions of concurrence and quantum discord in a driven system of two interacting qubits prepared in a generic Werner state.

Thermal entanglement in the three-qubit Tavis-Cummings model with Kerr nonlinearity

open access: yesКомпьютерная оптика
We obtained a solution of the Liouville equation for a system of three identical qubits interacting without detuning with a thermal field of a cavity with a Kerr medium, for two type of initial pure genuine W-entangled qubits states.

Quantum discord and entanglement in grover search algorithm

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2016
Imperfections and noise in realistic quantum computers may seriously affect the accuracy of quantum algorithms. In this article we explore the impact of static imperfections on quantum entanglement as well as non-entangled quantum correlations in Grover ...

Tripartite entanglement witnesses and entanglement sudden death [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2009
I explore entanglement dynamics in a three qubit system comparing the ability of entanglement witnesses to detect tripartite entanglement to the phenomenon of entanglement sudden death (ESD). Using a system subject to dephasing I invoke entanglement witnesses to detect tripartite Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ)-type and $W$-type entanglement and ...

Two-qubit Fisher information and Jensen–Shannon nonlocality dynamics induced by a coherent cavity under dipole, intensity-dependent, and decoherence couplings

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2022
This study investigates two-qubit local quantum Fisher information correlation (LQFI), entanglement of formation (EoF), and two-qubit Jensen–Shannon coherence as a result of cavity–qubit coupling via intensity dependent and qubit–qubit interactions ...

Non-classical correlation of cascaded photon pairs emitted from quantum dot

open access: yes, 2011
We studied the quantum correlation between the photon pairs generated by biexciton cascade decays of self-assembled quantum dots, and determined the temperature behavior associated with so-called sudden change of the quantum correlation. The relationship

Entanglement dynamics during decoherence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The evolution of the entanglement between oscillators that interact with the same environment displays highly non-trivial behavior in the long time regime. When the oscillators only interact through the environment, three dynamical phases were identified

Postponing Distillability Sudden Death in a Correlated Dephasing Channel

open access: yesEntropy, 2020
We investigated the dynamics of a two-qutrit system in a correlated quantum channel. The partial correlations between consecutive actions of the channel can effectively postpone the phenomenon of distillability sudden death (DSD) and broaden the range of
