Abstract Discussing sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP) is difficult and sensitive for health care providers (HCPs), people with epilepsy (PwE), and caregivers. This scoping review examines the literature on SUDEP communication, focusing on need, timing, content, methods, facilitators, barriers, and outcomes. We performed a thematic analysis to

Analyses of phenomena exhibiting finite-time decay of quantum entanglement have recently attracted considerable attention. Such decay is often referred to as sudden vanishing (or sudden death) of entanglement, which can be followed by its sudden ...

Graphical abstract for the systematic literature review. Abstract Objective Dravet syndrome (DS) places tremendous burden on caregivers owing to the extent of required assistance and impact on daily living, as well as the risk to the individual with DS of premature mortality from sudden unexpected death in epilepsy and morbidity associated with ...

System-environment dynamics of X-type states in noninertial frames
The system-environment dynamics of noninertial systems is investigated. It is shown that for the amplitude damping channel: (i) the biggest difference between the decoherence effect and the Unruh radiation on the dynamics of the entanglement is the ...

Abstract Objective Artificial intelligence chatbots have been a game changer in healthcare, providing immediate, round‐the‐clock assistance. However, their accuracy across specific medical domains remains under‐evaluated. Dravet syndrome remains one of the most challenging epileptic encephalopathies, with new data continuously emerging in the ...

Gaussian quantum steering under the influence of a dilaton black hole
We study the dynamics of Gaussian quantum steering in the background of a Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger dilaton black hole. It is found that the gravity induced by dilaton field will destroy the quantum steerability between the inertial observer Alice ...

ILAE‐YES global webinar series: Integrating clinical and basic science in epilepsy research
An ILAE‐YES global webinar series bridging basic and clinical epilepsy research inspired new research ideas in 80% of participants. Abstract Summary Bridging clinical and basic research is increasingly recognized as a priority in the epilepsy field, yet opportunities for integration remain limited by the time, space, and financial constraints of ...

Caught in the fire: An accidental ethnography of discomfort in researching sex work
Abstract Drawing on fifteen years of engagement with researching Israel's sex industry, this article uses accidental ethnography to propose discomfort‐as‐method for feminist anthropology. I argue that discomfort is not a by‐product of fieldwork but a constitutive condition that disciplines researchers and shapes what can be known.
