Comparison Studies Of Enteric Coated And Uncoated Tablets
Aspirin is belonging to the class of NSAID having analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and antiplatelet activity at regular normal doses. At higher doses it causes gastrointestinal ulcers, stomach bleeding etc. This effect of aspirin can be minimized by preventing the drug exposure to the gastric region which is achieved by using enteric coating ...

A multi‐functional shear‐thinning hydrogel is engineered to treat enterocutaneous fistulas. This hydrogel can resist external pressures allowing it to remain within the fistula tract and is shown to have significant antimicrobial, pro‐healing, and anti‐inflammatory properties, which were validated in in vitro and in vivo experiments.

Pyloric stenosis: Hold-up of enteric coated aspirin tablets
Abstract The case is presented of a 68-year-old woman with adult hypertrophic pyloric stenosis who ingested 66 enteric coated 650-mg. aspirin tablets over the course of 11 days immediately prior to her admission to hospital. Most of these tablets remained intact in the hugely dilated obstructed stomach and were recovered at emergency ...

Accelerated Medicines Development using a Digital Formulator and a Self-Driving Tableting DataFactory [PDF]
Pharmaceutical tablet formulation and process development, traditionally a complex and multi-dimensional decision-making process, necessitates extensive experimentation and resources, often resulting in suboptimal solutions. This study presents an integrated platform for tablet formulation and manufacturing, built around a Digital Formulator and a Self-
