A Neural Device Inspired by Neuronal Oscillatory Activity with Intrinsic Perception and Decision‐Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 12, March 27, 2025.
Inspired by neuronal oscillatory activity, a neural device with intrinsic perception and decision‐making (NDIPD) is proposed. By mimicking neuronal oscillations, it enables perception and decision‐making at five mechanical stimulation points using a single interface.

Comparison Studies Of Enteric Coated And Uncoated Tablets

open access: yes
Aspirin is belonging to the class of NSAID having analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and antiplatelet activity at regular normal doses. At higher doses it causes gastrointestinal ulcers, stomach bleeding etc. This effect of aspirin can be minimized by preventing the drug exposure to the gastric region which is achieved by using enteric coating ...

Catheter Injectable Multifunctional Biomaterial for the Treatment of Infected Enterocutaneous Fistulas

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multi‐functional shear‐thinning hydrogel is engineered to treat enterocutaneous fistulas. This hydrogel can resist external pressures allowing it to remain within the fistula tract and is shown to have significant antimicrobial, pro‐healing, and anti‐inflammatory properties, which were validated in in vitro and in vivo experiments.

Pyloric stenosis: Hold-up of enteric coated aspirin tablets

open access: yesJournal of British Surgery, 1973
Abstract The case is presented of a 68-year-old woman with adult hypertrophic pyloric stenosis who ingested 66 enteric coated 650-mg. aspirin tablets over the course of 11 days immediately prior to her admission to hospital. Most of these tablets remained intact in the hugely dilated obstructed stomach and were recovered at emergency ...
