On‐cell covalent crosslinking of hydrogel matrix to the membrane of a single cell using droplet microfluidics enables mechanotransduction and influences stem cell fate. This newly established approach influences stem cell fate, independent of YAP/TAZ mechanotransduction and non‐covalent reversible binding ligands yet by various intracellular ...

Phonon Transport in Amorphous-Coated Nanowires: an Atomistic Green Function Approach [PDF]
An approach is presented for the atomistic study of phonon transport in real dielectric nanowires via Green functions. The formalism is applied to investigate the phonon flow through nanowires coated by an amorphous material. Examples for a simple model system, and for real Si nanowires coated by silica are given.

Harnessing Outer Space for Improved Electrocaloric Cooling
A novel radiative heat sink/source‐integrated electrocaloric (R‐iEC) system combines the electrocaloric (EC) effect with a thermally conductive radiative cooler (TCRC) to address heat dissipation limitations in EC devices. Utilizing outer space as a heat sink, the system achieves up to 240 W m−2 of heat dissipation performance, making it highly ...

Dynamics of Soap Bubble Inflation [PDF]
Bubbles have always captivated our curiosity with their aesthetics and complexities alike. While the act of blowing bubbles is familiar to everyone, the underlying physics of these fleeting spheres often eludes reasoning. In this letter, we discuss the dynamics of inflating a soap bubble using controlled airflow through a film-coated nozzle.
