Enteric Methane Emission and Amelioration Strategies in Ruminants
Ruminants play a vital role in global food systems by converting forages from non-arable lands into high-quality animal protein. However, 2-12% of gross energy is lost as enteric methane (CH4), contributing nearly 6% of global anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions.

We investigate tip‐induced bond weakening of a single alkyne center immobilized and aligned upright on Au(111) using a rigid triphenylmethane‐based tripod. By varying the tip–molecule distance, we observe shifts in the ≡C–H and –C≡C– vibrational bands via ultrahigh vacuum low‐temperature tip‐enhanced Raman scattering (TERS).

Operando Raman Spectroscopic Studies on Propane Dehydrogenation Over Co‐Based Catalysts
Operando Raman spectroscopy was applied to investigate carbon‐containing species during propane dehydrogenation to propene over 3‐wt.% cobalt on silicalite‐1. The emergence of G and D Raman bands correlated with increased propene formation, suggesting that coverage of metallic Co by carbon species may be essential for selective propane dehydrogenation.
