Enthalpies and entropies of fusion of some substituted dipeptides
Journal of Thermal Analysis, 1992Enthalpies and temperatures of fusion or transition for four substituted dipeptides (Nacetylamides of glycyl-L-alanine (NAGAA),L-alanyl-L-alanine (NAA2A),L-prolyl-glycine (NAPGA) andL-leucyl-L-proline monohydrate (NALPA·H2O)) were determined by differential scanning calorimetry and the entropies of fusion derived.

Estimating entropies and enthalpies of fusion of organic compounds
The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 1991A group additivity method recently reported for estimating fusion entropies and fusion enthalpies of hydrocarbons is expanded to include both mono- and multisubstituted derivatives as well. The parameters are derived from experimental fusion enthalpies of 191 hydrocarbons and 225 monosubstituted and 233 multisubstituted hydrocarbon derivatives.

Enthalpy of uranium tetrafluoride from 298–1400°K: enthalpy and entropy of fusion
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1972Abstract The enthalpy of UF 4 from room temperature up into the liquid phase has been measured in order to clarify some questionable thermochemical behavior reported in the literature. Our measured entropy of fusion for UF 4 of 8·6 cal °K −1 mol −1 is considerably lower than the 12·7 cal °K −1 mol −1 reported for the isostructural compound ZrF ...

Heat capacity and enthalpy of fusion of penconazole (C13H15Cl2N3)
Thermochimica Acta, 2004Abstract Low-temperature heat capacities of penconazole (C 13 H 15 Cl 2 N 3 ) were precisely measured with an automated adiabatic calorimeter over the temperature rang from 78 to 364 K. The sample was observed to melt at 332.38±0.06 K. The molar enthalpy and entropy of fusion of the compound were determined to be 33580±11 J mol −1 , 101.03±0.02 J mol

Thermochimica Acta, 2016
© 2016 Elsevier B.V.In this work a method for determination of sublimation enthalpies of amides substituted in aromatic ring from data on fusion enthalpies at the melting temperature was proposed. This method was checked by calculation of sublimation enthalpies of 12 substituted benzamides, containing −CH3, −OCH3, −F, −OH, −NH2 and −NO2 substituents ...

Enthalpy of fusion and cryoscopic constant for ethylene carbonate
The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 1975Abstract Because of a discrepancy in the literature, the enthalpy of fusion of ethylene carbonate has been redetermined. The value obtained is (35.80 ± 0.20) cal th g −1 which leads to (5.32 ± 0.03) K kg mol −1 for the molar frezing-temperature-depression constant.

ENTHALPY AND ENTROPY OF FUSION OF ISOTACTIC POLYSTYRENE
1967ABSTRACT The enthalpy of fusion Δ H u of isotactic polystyrene, determined from measurements of the depression of the melting point of the polymer in the presence of diluents by the dilatometric method at equilibrium, was 2150 cal/structural unit (±100).

Enthalpy of fusion and cryoscopic constant of N-methylacetamide
The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 1969Abstract In view of a discrepancy in the literature, the enthalpy of fusion of N-methylacetamide has been redetermined. The value obtained is (31.78±0.16) cal g−1. The cryoscopic constant calculated from this result is (5.77±0.02) K kg mol−1.

Determination of the enthalpy of fusion of K3TaO2F4 and KTaF6
Chemical Papers, 2009AbstractAreas of fusion and crystallization peaks of K3TaO2F4 and KTaF6 were measured using the DSC mode of a high-temperature calorimeter (SETARAM 1800 K). On the basis of these quantities, considering the temperature dependence of the calorimeter sensitivity, values of the fusion enthalpy of K3TaO2F4 at the fusion temperature of 1181 K of (43 ± 4) kJ

Enthalpies of Fusion and Transition of Organic Compounds
1995The temperatures and the enthalpies of both solid-solid and solid-liquid phase transition were collected from the original literature published from the end of the last century to early 1995. All the values were critically evaluated to provide recommended values in the cases where several experimental values were reported for the same phase transition.
