The ovaries of both investigated species are of the polytrophic-meroistic type. They are sac-shaped and not divided into individual ovarioles. Two compartments: the germarium and vitellarium can be discerned within each ovarial sac. The germaria are localized laterally and contain relatively numerous germ cells.
