Objective Despite guideline recommendations, long‐term glucocorticoid (GC) use is common in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). We conducted a clinician survey nested within a large registry to identify patient and clinician factors associated with GC use. Methods Clinicians contributing patients to the CorEvitas Rheumatoid Arthritis Registry were surveyed ...

Lepton loss and entropy generation in stellar collapse
Stellar core collapse is studied with the aim of understanding how sensitive the properties of the core are to variations in the underlying physical and astronomical assumptions made. A homogeneous core model is employed and the collapse is studied from the termination of core Si burning until neutrino trapping and beta equilibrium are attained.

Karl Popper and the Mechanisms of Hydrogen Embrittlement
Representation of the beginning of loss of ductility rather than embrittlement. Small concentrations of hydrogen in a diffusible form within iron are well‐established to harm the mechanical integrity of steels. There are theories that attempt to explain the pernicious role of hydrogen.

A Multidimensional Multicomponent Gas Dynamic with the Neutrino Transfer in Gravitational Collapse
The self-consistent problem of gravitational collapse is solved using 2D gas dynamics with taking into account the neutrino transfer in the flux-limited diffusion approximation.

Building machine‐readable vocabularies for materials science is slow, expert‐driven work. This study benchmarks 13 large language models on two of its first steps: finding candidate terms in engineering articles and deciding where they belong in a class hierarchy.

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

On the origin of species thermodynamics and the black hole - tower correspondence
Species thermodynamics has been proposed in analogy to black hole thermodynamics. The entropy scales like an area and is given by the mere counting of the number of the species. In this work, we derive the constitutive relations of species thermodynamics

An adaptive agent digraph simulation for road traffic safety statue in bridge–tunnel groups
The safety state of road network in the bridge–tunnel groups is an important factor in evaluating road traffic safety. This article describes a case study simulating brittleness behavior of road traffic safety statue in the bridge–tunnel groups.
