Correlation of the slope of the initial part of P-wave envelope, hypocenter depth and plate boundary
We investigated correlation of the slope of the initial part of P-wave envelope, hypocenter depth and plate boundaries by B-Δ method, which is used to determine epicentral distances in the Japan Meteorological Agency and Japan Railway Company earthquake ...

Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum for Image Analysis
The Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum (SHWB), a rotation‐ and translation‐invariant descriptor that captures higher‐order (phase) correlations in signals, is introduced. Combining wavelet scattering, bispectral analysis, and group theory, SHWB achieves interpretable, data‐efficient representations and demonstrates competitive performance across texture,

A Bayesian method for pulsar template generation
Extracting Times of Arrival from pulsar radio signals depends on the knowledge of the pulsars pulse profile and how this template is generated. We examine pulsar template generation with Bayesian methods.

Prolonged exposure to stiff extracellular matrix drives cancer‐associated fibroblasts into a persistently activated myofibroblast state. Two parallel pathways are identified: β1 integrin activation smoothens the nuclear lamina to reduce lamin–chromatin contacts, while the formin mDia2 regulates nuclear actin to alter chromatin organization.

Identification of Peptide Inhibitors of Enveloped Viruses Using Support Vector Machine.
The peptides derived from envelope proteins have been shown to inhibit the protein-protein interactions in the virus membrane fusion process and thus have a great potential to be developed into effective antiviral therapies.

Denoising method of vibration signal of rolling bearing based on multi—criteria fusio
In view of problem that early weak fault features of rolling bearings were difficult to extract, a denoising method of vibration signal of rolling bearing based on multi—criteria fusion was proposed.

Bayesian Approach for Linear Optics Correction
With a Bayesian approach, the linear optics correction algorithm for storage rings is revisited. Starting from the Bayes' theorem, a complete linear optics model is simplified as "likelihood functions" and "prior probability distributions".

AI‐Enhanced Vibrational Capsule for Minimally Invasive Detection of Abnormal Bowel Tissue
A fully integrated vibration‐assisted capsule is presented for the minimally invasive detection of bowel lesions. The capsule incorporates a wireless sensor and an eccentric motor to probe tissue mechanics in situ. By coupling triaxial vibration signals with AI‐based classification and analytical modeling, the system enables early, non‐visual ...
