A strongly correlated electron system (SCES) exhibits pronounced insulating behavior due to Coulombic repulsion between cations, which generates a charge gap. This study investigates the tuning of the band structure in NiWO4‐based SCES via Cu doping at substitutional sites and Li doping at interstitial sites.

INTERFERENCES OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL LAW WITH THE URBAN LAW
Addressing the large, complex issue of influences that urbanization can have on the environment, requires first of all, some general considerations on the interferences between the urban law and the environmental law.

H2O2‐Generating Advanced Nanomaterials for Cancer Treatment
H2O2‐generating nanoplatforms can exploit tumor redox imbalance for O2 and toxic reactive oxygen species generation, leading to hypoxia reversal, and apoptosis of cancer cells, respectively. This review highlights the mechanisms of these nanoplatforms, including exogenous H₂O₂ delivery, endogenous amplification, and metal peroxides, which leads to ...

Philanthropy and environmental law
AbstractIn this article, we begin to address the relative lack of scholarship on philanthropic engagement with environmental law. It is clear that big philanthropy exercises significant power in and over our discipline, in a variety of ways that extend beyond the granting (and, importantly, withholding) of funds for projects and activities.

The study explores for the first time the use of polyvinyl butyral (PVB), particularly recycled PVB, as a sustainable binder for Li/Na‐based electrodes in the framework of the H2020 SUNRISE EU project. Findings revealed that electrodes bound with a sustainable PAA/PVB mixture demonstrated exceptional rate capability and high initial Coulombic ...

System-environmental entanglement in critical spin systems under $ZZ$-decoherence and its relation to strong and weak symmetries [PDF]
Open quantum many-body system exhibits nontrivial behavior under decoherence. In particular, system-environmental entanglement is one of quantities to characterize mixed state properties under decoherence. In this study, we investigate the behavior of the system-environmental entanglement for critical spin chains under nearest-neighbor $ZZ ...

Chasing Charge Carriers: Diffusion Dynamics in Mixed‐n Quasi‐2D Colloidal MAPbBr3 Perovskites
Metal halide perovskites are noted for their tunable optical properties. Colloidal synthesis allows the formation of differently shaped perovskite nanocrystals with varying optical and carrier transport behavior. Three MAPbBr3 morphologies are characterized: nanoplatelets, nanosheets, and nanostripes.

Public Support for Environmental Regulation: When Ideology Trumps Knowledge [PDF]
When environmental regulations are unpopular, policymakers often attribute resistance to information frictions and poor communication. We test this idea in the context of a major climate policy: Germany's Heating Law of 2023, which mandates the phase-out of fossil fuel heating.
