Environmental education included in license

open access: yes, 2015
Due to the progressive increase in population there was a demand for natural resources and rapid technological development, so that adaptation and natural environmental balance were destroyed and the very human cultural adaptation to the environment was broken causing terrible consequences.

Policy Development for Environmental Licensing and Biodiversity Offsets in Latin America

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
Attempts to meet biodiversity goals through application of the mitigation hierarchy have gained wide traction globally with increased development of public policy, lending standards, and corporate practices. With interest in biodiversity offsets increasing in Latin America, we seek to strengthen the basis for policy development through a review of ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Detection and Identification of Vehicle License Plates in Indonesia Transportation System Based on Deep Learning Using YOLOv11 and Easyocr

open access: yesJurnal Sisfokom
The detection and identification of vehicle license plates in Indonesia still face significant challenges due to unstable environmental conditions during image capture, such as extreme lighting, varying angles of capture, physical damage to the plates ...

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Salvage archaeology in the PCH Moji-Guaçu Reservoir area.

open access: yesRevista do Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia, 1995
This paper presents data resulting from the salvage research carried out in the PCH Moji-Guaçu Reservoir area. Perfomed without environmental license, the archaeological rescue was however necessary. Prehistoric villages (Tupiguarani sites) were surveyed

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...
