A novel magnetic nanocomposite, consisting of Fe3O4 embedded within non-stoichiometric hydroxyapatite (nST-HAP), was synthesized for the removal of Cd from water. The material was characterized using FTIR, PXRD, and SEM-EDX and BET–analyzer.
