Effect of Laser Deoxidation on Adhesive‐Bonded Aluminum in an Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates laser ablation of aluminum under oxygen‐free conditions. The goal is to produce oxide‐free substrates that enable improved adhesive bonding with epoxy. Optimized laser parameters (90% overlap, 300 µJ) combined with oxide‐free substrates result in the highest tensile strength of the adhesive bond.

Embeddable module of environmental parameters

2016 17th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM), 2016
The importance of environment's parameters (temperature, atmospheric pressure and humidity) influences on human health is considered in this article. The study of this effect requires a mass screening. The module designed for such investigations and which is a part of a wearable biomedical sensor system built on the Internet of Things technology is ...

Environmental parameters control in Datacenter

2014 IEEE International Conference on Automation, Quality and Testing, Robotics, 2014
It is necessary to maintain the constant temperature around 20 Celsius degree with a maximum deviation of 4 Celsius degree in Datacenter to work in the best condition. In this aim, two software were developed in INCDTIM for control and monitoring the important environmental parameters.

Measurement of Environmental Physical Parameters

2003
Any artefact is influenced by the surrounding environment, in terms of stress produced by physical factors such as temperature, light irradiation and humidity, and, in a more general sense, by the microclimate resulting from the synergy of all these factors (Stainer et al, 1984; Fea, 1988; Monteith, 1990; Camuffo et al., 2001).

Environmental parameters in museums

Building and Environment, 2003
During the last decade, the environmental conditions of the museum exhibition facilities and storage areas have been shown to be the most crucial factor, concerning the preservation of collections and artifacts. The pollution (chemicals and noise), the humidity, the temperature and the lighting can possibly deteriorate or even destroy the material ...

Remote sensing of environmental parameters

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1982
This paper describes a prototype environmental parameter sampling system and the problems it is intended to address. Increasingly sophisticated sonar performance models are being developed in support of advanced sonar system. A graphic portrayal of the simulated performance of a notional sonar system is presented as an example of the sensitivity of a ...

Environmental parameters in building design

Building and Environment, 1988
Abstract A comfortable thermo-visual environment indoors is a prerequisite for a good office design. Various design approaches in isolation either do not lay due emphasis on the overall quality of indoor environment or are not economically energy efficient.

Environmental Parameter Monitoring Using Wireless Sensor Network

Приборы и техника эксперимента, 2013
The paper presents the design and deployment of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) for monitoring environmental parameters. The system measures air temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation and barometric pressure. The system consists of a base station and a wireless sensor node. WSN ethernet gateway attached to a host PC serves as the base station in

Relationships between skin properties and environmental parameters

Skin Research and Technology, 2007
Background/purpose: Many authors have written about skin physiological parameters and their changes according to different environmental conditions. Nevertheless, the literature puts in evidence disagreement among different studies due to the great variability in these parameters and due to the difficulty in comparing the results obtained under ...
