Polymer Interface Enables Reversible Quasi‐Solid Sulfur Conversion in Sodium‐Sulfur Batteries
The polymer interface enables a stable quasi‐solid sulfur conversion pathway in room‐temperature Na─S batteries. The coating regulates Na+ transport, stabilizes the cathode–electrolyte interphase, and accommodates mechanical stress, suppressing electrolyte decomposition and sulfur migration, thereby improving reaction uniformity, reducing polarization,

Factors affecting the dynamic response of the body and the vibration transmitted through seats
The vibration transmitted through a seat is influenced by the dynamics of the seat and thedynamics of the occupant. The principal objective of this thesis is to understand how the dynamicsof the body and factors affecting the dynamics of the body ...

Dual‐Mode Magnetic Elastomer for On‐Demand Motion and Degradation
A dual‐mode magnetic elastomer is introduced, enabling DC field‐driven programmable actuation and AC field‐driven magnetothermal degradation. GHz‐range magnetic fields generate ultrafast heating of magnetic nanoparticles that activates cleavage of the silicone elastomer matrix.

Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...

Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) accounts for over 50% of the global cathode market, underscoring the need for efficient recycling and regeneration. We propose a dual‐salt carbothermal shock (CTS) strategy using LiI and NaI to in situ repair Li vacancies.

Rigid-elastic combined metamaterial beam with tunable band gaps for broadband vibration suppression
Extensive research efforts have been dedicated to exploring the application of metamaterial beams for vibration suppression. However, most existing designs primarily focused on utilizing the translational motion of local resonators to create band gaps ...

Simulation of the generation and propagation of blast induced shock waves [PDF]
Hybrid modelling of blast vibration uses the signal produced from a single hole test shot to simulate the vibration that would be produced by a full-scale production blast.
