Soft Skins With Reversible Thickness Morphing: Materials, Mechanisms, and Applications
Evolution of electronic skin (e‐skin) technologies toward adaptive, multifunctional soft skins. Phase I highlights early rigid and discrete sensory interfaces. Phase II shows the transition toward flexible, stretchable, and large‐area e‐skin. Phase III captures the emergence of computational e‐skin.

Novel techniques to assess environmentally-assisted cracking in a nickel-based superalloy
A number of drawbacks are associated with conventional mechanical testing methodologies for nickel-based superalloys: (i) a substantial amount of material is needed, which exacerbates cost, (ii) thus for alloy development purposes - when the quantity of ...

Programmable Functional Silicification of DNA Origami Nanostructures
This work introduces additional functionality into silica‐coated DNA origami nanostructures using non‐standard silica precursors. A fluorescent precursor enables enhanced intracellular tracking, while a disulfide‐containing reagent yields redox‐responsive, degradable silica coatings.

Confinement‐Induced Donnan Potential Enables Sealed Hydrovoltaic Power From Microliter Water
An ultrathin MXene/cellulose nanofiber (CNF) nanochannel‐based hydrovoltaic generator produces sustained direct current (DC) from a single microliter droplet under sealed operation. Asymmetric nanochannel confinement establishes a persistent ion gradient and a confinement‐induced Donnan potential, harvesting the interfacial free energy released upon ...
