Nocturnal surveying of larvae and pupae using ultraviolet light (UV) is gaining popularity as a simple, inexpensive, and non‐invasive method.

Canadian boreal restored mining sites sustain diverse pollinator communities, including species of conservation concern

Revegetated mine tailing storage facilities support pollinator abundance, diversity, richness and evenness comparable to recently logged boreal forest sites. Agronomic and spontaneous revegetation strategies host similar pollinator and Bombus community structures, indicating multiple rehabilitation approaches can effectively restore pollinator habitat.

Rational determination of real‐life UV exposure across latitudes: An extended Diffey‐based model integrating behavioural factors

This study models real‐life UVB and UVA exposure across latitudes and seasons using an extended Diffey framework with behavioural corrections. Bio‐active designed peptide for hair keratin strengthening

Bioactive tripeptides through in silico screening revealed KCV (Tripeptide‐132) as the most promising keratin‐targeting candidate. Experimental studies confirmed its superior hair‐strengthening performance with 44% tensile strength enhancement, 50% breakage reduction, improved surface integrity and fibre penetration.
