Investigation on the effect of active-polymers with different functional groups for EOR
Active-polymer attracted increasing interest as an enhancing oil recovery technology in oilfield development owing to the characteristics of polymer and surfactant. Different types of active functional groups, which grafted on the polymer branched chain,

This study presents an integrated workflow to evaluate secure and large‐scale CO2 storage in depleted oil reservoirs of the Cambay Basin, India. Industrial CO2 sources are systematically matched with mature oil fields using a quantitative source–sink framework to minimize transport distance and cost.

CO₂-EOR in the UK: Analysis of fiscal incentives - Final Non-Technical Report [PDF]
The SCCS CO2-EOR Joint Industry Project accepted a proposal by Element Energy, supported by Dundas Consultants and Prof. Kemp, to quantify the potential impacts of fiscal incentives for CO2-EOR in the UK Continental Shelf in detail, recognising the ...

Study on the variation of rock pore structure after polymer gel flooding
Polymer gels have received an increasing attention as profile control agents in the heterogeneous reservoir water-flooded layers. The article focus on the profile control mechanism of polymer gels by plugging macropore.

Salinity Effect on the Surfactant Critical Micelle Concentration through Surface Tension Measurement [PDF]
One of the tertiary methods for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) is the injection of chemicals into oil reservoirs, and surface active agents (surfactants) are among the most used chemicals.

This work integrates 5 years of field data from the Aquistore CCS project with a non‐isothermal THM modeling framework to explain how cold CO2 injection alters injectivity over time. The study shows that sustained cooling near the wellbore reduces effective stresses, promotes tensile micro‑cracking, and leads to semi‑reversible permeability enhancement
