Eosinophilic fasciitis in a pair of siblings [PDF]

open access: yesArthritis & Rheumatism, 1989
AbstractTwo siblings, a 38‐year‐old woman and a 33‐year‐old man, developed eosinophilic fasciitis within a period of 6 months. They were found to have identical HLA–A, B, DR, and DQ antigens, raising the possibility of a genetic influence in the development of this disease.

Critical Role of Skin in Pathogenesis: Bidirectional Crosstalk Between Skin and Multiple Organs

open access: yesMedComm – Future Medicine, Volume 4, Issue 2, June 2025.
The skin functions as both a protective barrier and an autonomous immune organ, maintaining dynamic interactions with internal organs.
