ABSTRACT Background Data on quality of life in a low fibrosis prevalence metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) cohort are scarce, as previous research has focused on advanced fibrosis and cirrhosis. This study examined the association between steatosis and general and mental health, as well as productivity in patients in ...

Hybrid TiN ‐ MXene Photoanodes Drive Efficient Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting
The photoelectrochemical (PEC) system based on an optimized TiO2‐MXene‐TiN hybrid (MXene:TiN 1:4 wt %) hybrid network sensitized with CdS/CdSe/ZnS QDs yields a photocurrent density of 15.80 mA cm−2 under 1 sun illumination (AM 1.5G, 100 mW cm−2, having 55% higher than control TiO2/QDs device (7.20 mA cm−2).

Abstract We explored community‐based doulas' perspectives on the acceptability of using formal screening tools to address low rates of mental health screening, diagnosis, and treatment for perinatal anxiety and depression among Black women. Using thematic analysis, we analyzed interview data from 30 community‐based doulas who support Black families ...

Some Properties of Entropy for the Exponentiated Pareto Distribution (EPD) Based on Order Statistics
In this paper, we derived the exact form of the entropy for Exponentiated Pareto Distribution (EPD). Some properties of the entropy and mutual information are presented for order statistics of EPD.

Pharmacokinetic profiles of sertraline in pregnancy as a predictor of postpartum depressive symptoms
Aim To characterize pharmacokinetic changes of sertraline and its metabolite during pregnancy and postpartum, and their relationship to maternal postpartum depressive symptoms. Methods This was a prospective observational, longitudinal study of pregnant women with a major depressive disorder treated with sertraline (N = 185 women, 205 pregnancies ...

Addressing Causality and Homogeneity Assumptions in Exposure‐Response Analyses
Exposure‐response, or pharmacokinetic–pharmacodynamic (PKPD), analyses support many drug development decisions. It is typically applied without assessment of causality and homogeneity, where the latter refers to the assumption that the reason for variability in exposure is unimportant for the impact on response.

Prenatal Maternal Stress and Weak Handedness in Early Childhood: The Iowa Flood Study
ABSTRACT Weak handedness is frequently observed in individuals with neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders. Although birth‐related stressors, such as prematurity, have been shown to contribute to this association, the influence of early prenatal maternal stress (PNMS) remains under‐explored.
