EPDM rubber reclaim from devulcanized EPDM [PDF]
AbstractTwo types of ethylene–propylene–diene monomer (EPDM) rubbers, namely an efficient vulcanized (EV) and a semiefficient vulcanized (SEV), have been used to produce devulcanizates in a continuous setup. The devulcanizates are re‐cured using the same recipes as for the virgin rubber.

Recycling of EPDM waste. I. Effect of ground EPDM vulcanizate on properties of EPDM rubber
AbstractProcessing, cure characteristics, and mechanical properties of EPDM rubber containing ground EPDM vulcanizate of known composition were studied. Mooney viscosity increases and Mooney scorch time decreases by the addition of the ground vulcanizate. At higher loadings of the ground rubber, the maximum rheometric torque decreases.

Ethylene Propylene Diene rubber (EPDM), is present in many applications. However, its crosslinked structure makes difficult its recycling. The use of devulcanized EPDM, (dEPDM) as a component of elastomeric composites, is a real possibility to reuse EPDM

Effect of Vulcanization System and Carbon Black on Mechanical and Swelling Properties of EPDM Blends [PDF]
EPDM (Ethylene propylene diene monomer) is one of synthetic rubber that widely used in automotive. It must be vulcanized and added by other materials before used. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of vulcanization system and the addition

Photothermal Polymer Nanocomposites of Tungsten Bronze Nanorods with Enhanced Tensile Elongation at Low Filler Contents [PDF]
We present polymer nanocomposites of tungsten bronze nanorods (TBNRs) and ethylene propylene diene monomers (EPDM). The combination of these components allows the simultaneous enhancement in the mechanical and photothermal properties of the composites at
