Synergistic Effects of Devulcanization and Liquid Polymer Activation on EPDM Rubber Waste Recycling

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 142, Issue 40, October 20, 2025.
The recycling of EPDM rubber waste by mechanochemical devulcanization and activation with liquid polymer shows promising results as a substitute for virgin rubber in high‐quality industrial products such as seals. The combination of processes depends on the degree of devulcanization. Devulcanization restores the mechanical properties of the material to

Anti‐Icing Organogel Enables Quasi‐Homogeneous Supercooling Preservation of Mouse Hearts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 37, October 6, 2025.
An organogel interface with a large energy barrier for ice nucleation is proposed to enable a quasi‐homogeneous supercooling preservation for organs. This method does not rely on cryoprotectant agents or machine perfusion and can double the ex vivo storage time of mouse hearts.

Thermal Performance and Shape Stability Evaluation of Boron Nitride and Expanded Graphite Synergy in Beeswax‐Based Composite Phase Change Material

open access: yesEnergy Storage, Volume 7, Issue 7, October 2025.
EG:h‐BN integrated PCM composite. ABSTRACT Phase change materials (PCMs) are efficient thermal energy storage materials due to their high energy density and ability to maintain a constant temperature during phase transitions. Nonetheless, the low thermal conductivity and liquid phase leakage of PCMs constrain their efficient heat transfer and ...
