Precision in Rubber Seal Lifetime Prediction: The Critical Role of Aspect Ratio
Polymer Engineering &Science, Volume 65, Issue 12, Page 6781-6797, December 2025.This study examines how specimen geometry affects rubber seal aging predictions. We examine NBR and EPDM samples with varying aspect ratios (AR) under thermo‐oxidative conditions. Analysis includes indentation modulus, hardness, crosslink density, and calorimetric analyses. Results reveal how aspect ratio influences aging behavior.
