EPG-Calc: a PHP-based script to calculate electrical penetration graph (EPG) parameters

open access: yesArthropod-Plant Interactions, 2014
Electrical penetration graph (EPG) technique is a powerful tool to investigate the hidden feeding behavior of piercing-sucking insects allowing to link recorded EPG waveforms to stylet penetration and complex behaviors related to feeding activities occurring within plant tissue.

EPG-modeling

open access: yes, 2010
This presentation discusses the status of the modelling of Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) with the Plasimo toolkit. After presenting a brief history of the efforts to model CAP in the groups ETP (now PMP) and EPG, the open issues will be revealed and discussed with the ...

New structure in cell puncture activities by aphid stylets: a dual‐mode EPG study

open access: yesEntomologia Experimentalis Et Applicata, 2010
Intracellular punctures by aphid stylets appear as potential drop (pd) waveforms in DC electrical penetration graph (EPG) recordings. We used a dual-EPG device that recorded in one channel the ‘full EPG’ with R-plus emf-components (i.e., the usual DC EPG)

Genotoxicity testing of esterified propoxylated glycerol (EPG)

open access: yesRegulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology, 2014
Four versions of esterified propoxylated glycerols (EPGs) were evaluated for potential genotoxicity using a range of in vitro and in vivo assays. H-EPG-05 HR/SO 9:1, H-EPG-05 soyate, and H-EPG-14 soyate were non-mutagenic in reverse mutation assays ...

On independent set in B1-EPG graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Applied Mathematics, 2020
In this paper we consider the Maximum Independent Set problem (MIS) on B 1-EPG graphs, that is the one-bend (B 1) Edge intersection graphs of Paths on a Grid (EPG graphs). The graph class EPG was introduced in Golumbic et al.

Updating the Reading EPG

Proceeding of Fourth International Conference on Spoken Language Processing. ICSLP '96, 1996
The Reading EPG (Electropalatograph) was developed in the Speech Research Laboratory at The University of Reading as a device to allow the number, shape and position of contacts between the tongue and the roof of the mouth to be measured and recorded. This device is used both as a research tool and in speech therapy as a bio-feedback device.

EPG

Proceedings of the 12th international ACM SIGACCESS conference on Computers and accessibility, 2010
Over the last 10 years, in-home entertainment options have expanded dramatically. However, interfaces to listing data are still very limited. For people with visual disabilities, or those with limited hand mobility, it can be difficult or impossible to use the "guide" provided by many cable and satellite television companies.

EpGs with minimal ?: II

Geometriae Dedicata, 1992
There are two known lower bounds for μ(P, Q) in an EpG, called β1 and β2, see for example [3]. In [4], μ=β1 was studied for the case of triangular EGQs and, in [3], μ=β2 was considered for EpGs in general. Here we extend this to the case μ=β1 for EpGs in general, including non-triangular EGQs, and we give a number of characterizations.
